Spring-It™ Buffer Retainer Lock.

This handy tool lets you easily remove and install AR buffer and buffer spring, as well as lock buffer retainer in place so you don`t lose it while the buffer is removed. Especially handy when you are running a flat wire buffer spring, which tend to get stuck on the buffer retainer when inserting or removing. Made from durable and chemically resistant material thart won't sratch or mar your equipment.

How It Works

1. Pull the takedown pin out, align Buffer Retainer Lock on top of the buffer retainer and safety selector.

2. While pushing the buffer in with your thumb, push Buffer Retainer Lock down to depress the buffer retainer.

3. With the other hand push takedown pin in to hold Buffer Retainer Lock in place.

4. Release your thumb that is holding the buffer. If buffer is retained by the Buffer Retainer Lock, rotate buffer to align one of the flattened sides to the bottom.

5. Carefully let the buffer and buffer spring to slide out of the buffer tube.
